Much to Tana's delight, in Thailand you are never far from a market.
There are many types of markets to be found. The morning markets, such as this one in Chang Rai, typically focus on veggies and flowers.
We came across this Amulet market in Lampang. Tana and Zane are driving a hard bargain with the seller.
A Hill Tribe woman peddling foodstuff at the market in Mae Salong. Although wearing the traditional costume was likely mostly for the visitors' benefit, we did see people walking around in this attire as part of their everyday business.

Sometimes the market comes to you. This woman is peddling brooms. I would guess she does a good business, as it seems that people are constantly sweeping in or in front of their business establishments.
We stumbled across this market in Chang Rai, it was getting set up outside as we visited the Hill Tribe Museum. It was quite large, with music and lots of interesting food - we did NOT eat the fried bugs! Very few tourists here.
